My Windows key stopped working yesterday or the day before yesterday, why don't I know…
Maybe some key combination or something?
Mega weird, the keyboard won't be the problem. Is it more like when the button is deactivated or something?
Does anyone know if you can activate the function with a key combination?
Have read FN + Windows key a few times, but I don't have a laptop but a fixed PC, there's no FN
And what kind of keyboard do you have? Some models actually have a small button somewhere to disable the Windows buttons. Or someone deactivated it like this: https://tipps.computerbild.de/software/windows/so-koennen-sie-ihre-windows-taste-deaktivieren-513937.html
Have a Logitech G910
Well "someone" can't be, only I have access to the PC, I hardly believe that my girlfriend is going to do it, especially since she doesn't have the password at all.
I will have pressed something
Thank you Found the button! There really is something like that on my keyboard.
The instructions seem contradictory to me. - If the Windows key is deactivated, points 1 and 2 of the instructions will not work.
Therefore, instead, under Search, you would have to enter Run> Enter key…
Yes, it's just a computer picture. You just have to think that you have to do it differently.
A "beginner" has to figure this out first. - A big help…
Every beginner is also a person who can think when he wants to, and just because someone asks does not mean that he is automatically a non-thinking beginner.
Philosophical considerations are of little help to those seeking help. - This guide is a joke.
Start "Logitec Options"
Select the affected device (if applicable).
Click the "More" button below
Find the section "Disabled Keys" and uncheck "Windows / Start Key"
If it isn't, then you need to consider that the button itself has a defect.
Have you already tested the keyboard on another PC / laptop?
If it is not a hardware failure, a system restore should help.
