Can I play Dolphin on my Metroid prime laptop?

Pa

Windows 10 64x

Intel graphics 620

4GB ram

Intel Celeron 3350 1.1 GHz to 2.4 GHz

Po

Just give it a try, but the probability that it will run well is more than low, even a 50 Euro Raspberry Pi4 4GB has more power than your laptop: -D

Pa

The net is sooo weak xD

Po

Oh yes he is.
Your laptop = 1.10 GHz
Raspberry Pi4 = 1.50 GHz (easily overpacked to 2.2 GHz)

Your laptop = 2 cores
Raspberry Pi4 = 4 cores

Your laptop = 4GB DDR3-1866 Ram
Raspberry Pi4 = 4GB LPDDR4-2400 Ram (8GB Ram for a surcharge of 10 euro)

Your laptop = 0.20 GHz GPU tack
Raspberry Pi4 = 0.50 GHz GPU Tackt (easily overpacked to 0.75 GHz)

If you want to say it badly, your laptop is already overwhelmed with minesweeper and solitaire.

Pa

But mine also goes up to 2.4 GHz

Pa

And I can do stuff like Batman Arkham Origins, Dishonored, Halo 3, or Portal 2

Po

But do you already realize that the CPU can only use the boost clock for a short time and last longer when the cooling is running optimally and at full power? As soon as the CPU warms up, it clocks down again, the only solution here would be CO2 cooling or something similar. You can then clock up to 2.5+ GHz even with a Raspberry. As I said, your laptop is an entry-level office laptop for the office, if you want to emulate a Wii or WiiU game on it, you will usually not reach the 60fps that it originally had. As I said, give it a try, but don't expect too much, your laptop is just a mercilessly weak box and not a gaming laptop.

Pa

30fps are enough for me

Po

Haha Portal 2 also runs on a Pentium 4 with 1.7GHz, a processor that came on the market in 2001 and is probably older than you are right?

Pa

Jap xD
