My laptop is now 5 years old and the CPU is no longer the newest. Can you actually order laptop CPUs on the Internet or do you have to buy a new laptop, which would be a waste of money and resources? Could someone please name a shop where they can be bought?
First of all, not every CPU is compatible with your current hardware.
In addition, your components may be soldered, i.e. Not suitable for exchange, you would have to give us a model.

It can't just be that it is at least 95% of all cases.
I only know individual Schenker models that have socketed CPUs.
Another problem is cooling performance.
Have an Acer Aspire F5-573 (G)
I just wanted to put it more nicely.
The chance to bring a 5 year old laptop with the CPU up to date is zero.
Retrofitting will cost more than a new notebook.
So forget it, you can't conjure up a Samsung S20 from a Nokia PT11 either.
😂… Thank you, then I will have to look around for something new
