Why can't my laptop be connected to my PC as a 2 monitor?

I currently have the problem that my laptop can't be connected to my PC as a monitor. I connect both over the network, so I hit win + r and then project the image from my PC onto my laptop. However, this always leads to crashes or my PC freezes, or my laptop shows that it is now ready to project, but nothing happens and my PC interrupts the signal. Need help urgently.

LG and thanks in advance

What kind of laptop is that what kind of PC?

Windows 10?

Is your BIOS up to date and your graphics card driver?

Ai

Maybe bad connection?

Ar

Because a laptop only has its monitor interfaces as outputs, i.e. It can only output images but not receive them

Ar

No, laptops are not made for this and do not support that

Ai

Of course that is possible…

Ar

No

Ai

Then please find out more on the Internet, I want to help my colleague Leo and not discuss, the discussion is now over and I will no longer answer. Greeting

Re

Have you read the whole question? Apparently not?

Re

Try the Spacedesk software.

Nu

Laptop and PC are both in good condition, drivers are up-to-date, only with the BIOS I don't know how to check it.

Nu

Shouldn't be a problem, I've never had any problems with it.

Ai

Try Spacedesk like a colleague has already written.

Nu

Ok I'm in

Nu

OK

Ar

Me already, do you?

Re

As I said, apparently not.

Your answer relates to a cable connection from monitor-out to monitor-out.

The questioner does this via wireless projection.
