I received an email from the training company where I applied for an apprenticeship.
Now they want me to do an online competence test to see if I'm suitable.
However, I can't do this on the computer or laptop and this is also not possible on the mobile phone, libraries and coffee shops are closed and I would not have the opportunity.
Should I send an email there that I can no longer participate because of this, or do you think that a possibility can be found?
Why can't you do this on your computer or laptop?
If the education is important to you, you should take the test.
there's sure to be a pc or laptop somewhere
The computer has Windows 7 and everything hangs and my laptop cable is defective
Then get a new charging cable online.

No, of course you don't send an email telling them that you can't take the test. You call them and say that you would like to take the test, but that you don't have a computer. You ask what alternatives are there.
Don't you have friends or relatives who would let you use their computers?
Otherwise I would rather call and say that you would like to take the test, but technically do not have the opportunity to do so, and ask if there's another option.
