League of Legends can no longer be opened?

I already played a round today at noon, then walked away from the laptop for a short time and when I wanted to turn it back on, it switched itself off, which is normal for me. So far everything is normal, but when I started it again and went into LoL, an error message came about a timeout. Then I closed the program and wanted to open it again. That did not work. I'm already trying to open the program for 2-3 hours.

Have restarted my laptop a couple of times. But when I go in, the Riot Games logo initially appears as normal, but that's it, nothing more is opened. If I try to open it again, nothing comes up, it loads but nothing comes.

Can someone help me there?

Can you start checking the files? Does that even exist outside of Steam or Uplay?

Just reinstall?
