I want lubuntu via USB STICK but the laptop says he has no operating system found?
Then he is not made bootable
How can you make him bootable?
Did you set the USB stick in the bios (u (efi)) as 'First Boot'.

No, but I chose it in the boot menu with f12
Does that work with Lubuntu?
Probably the USB stick is not bootable. How did you create it?
Under Windows 10 you could make a right click on the ISO and then "make available" and then copy everything to the stick, but this does not always work.
Or you can create it with RUFUS or "Linux Live USB Creator", that should work well on * buntus.

Then see @ WillEsWissen64!
If he had not specified it as a boot source, he would certainly want to boot from the hard drive, then this error should actually not occur (unless there was no operating system installed).
Alright, but what about Step 3 Persitenz what is it?
Yes, Lubuntu is Ubuntu with LXDE as the desktop instead of Gnome.
Unless: my glass ball is broken!
