Probably the USB stick is not bootable. How did you create it?
Under Windows 10 you could make a right click on the ISO and then "make available" and then copy everything to the stick, but this does not always work.
Or you can create it with RUFUS or "Linux Live USB Creator", that should work well on * buntus.
