Restore I Phone Backup?

I handed in my iPhone for repair and received a replacement device. I had previously made a backup on my laptop using I Tunes with my old I Phone. Now I wanted to do the backup on my new iPhone again. Now this message came. How do I go about it not to go wrong?

First of all, you need to bring the software up to date. New devices usually have an older version pre-installed that you have to update first so that you can import your backup.
