Headphones don't work. How can I solve this problem?

I recently wanted to talk to friends on Discord. This was not possible because they didn't hear me, but I did. I'm not very familiar with technology and wanted to ask if anyone knows why.

As a small note: I tried 2 headphones (both from Samsung) and both of them allow me to listen to music. Only Discord does not recognize a microphone. (if it is important: my laptop is from Razer)

Have you ever gone to Settings> Language & Audio in Discord and tried the input devices there?

Otherwise, maybe update the audio driver: Right-click on the Windows icon at the bottom left> Device Manager> Then look for the audio device and right-click> Update driver
