I would need the device for all common office applications and some common graphics programs such as Photoshop, Freehand and Dreamweaver. (For private use only) It should be possible to work quickly and to run several programs at the same time.
Almost every laptop should be able to do this. But if you want to be reasonably sure then look around in the price range of 500 euro or more.

Hard to say. Since gaming is relatively important to me, I'm particularly fit with PCs and less with laptops. And on top of that, the currently crazy prices.
But for just under 700 euro I would expect a more powerful graphics card than a Vega 8 and also 16 Gig Ram. So the box seems too expensive to me.
For creative work, I would recommend Mac.
