I would like to make tracks that go a bit in the Techno / Electro / Dubstep direction, possibly create Nen Drop, and I would be glad about some recommendations. Free programs I have not found anything suitable yet (mostly extremely confusing), and I'm not afraid to spend money (100 euro max.)
I thought so to Captain Chords, but: 1. Do I have a Windows laptop (ie, Captain Melody is not there, does that what?), 2. I read that should only be for "Sketches," and 3. I'm not sure if Captain Chords is right for the program I'm looking for. (Your opinion on that?)
Incidentally, I'm a beginner and have done almost nothing in the direction so far.
Thanks for your help, maybe who knows a suitable program for me.
So all the captain programs are just plugins that allow you to create chord and melody progressions, so no DAWs… Personally, I produce music with Ableton Live Lite, which was included with my audio interface (but is quite slimmed down).
Image Line FL Studio from Producer Edition is perfect for that.
1 license buy all other updates are free.
Has everything on board to create professional tracks.
At FL Studio I've already thought, is quite expensive
Can you first extensively test the demo version
A freeware alternative to FL would be https://lmms.io/
Has many basic elements like the old FL Studio versions.
Is good idea thank you!
(But is pretty slimmed down)
That's because you have the lite version, as the name implies. As with FL Studio, Ableton Live also has different editions, where you have more options or features, plugins, etc.
Oh really… ㋡
I'm aware that I just wanted to prevent the questioner from buying a 100 euro + audio interface just for Live Lite
Personally, I've been working with FL Studio for years. As Mahakaruna has already written, from the Producer Edition you have endless possibilities. Costs of course, but you have a DAW for everything.
But worth it, buy once, keep your whole life.
