I just have a broken fiber optic at home and have to give me a hotspot via my cell phone. I can only receive Wi-Fi with my laptop. The PC only has a LAN connection, no WLAN option.
Can I somehow forward the Internet from the laptop to the PC via USB?
Unfortunately, my laptop does not have a normal LAN port. Just a special flat one that I don't have a cable for.
If you have an Android smartphone, you can give your computer internet tethering.
All you have to do is activate tethering on your phone and then connect it to your phone via USB.
You can also buy a WLAN USB stick for your PC. For example this: https://www.real.de/product/344955229/?kwd=&source=pla&sid=27932694 This has dual band WLAN. In the 2.4 GHz band it achieves up to 300 Mbit / s and in the 5 GHz band up to 866 Mbit / s.
Then you also have WLAN available on your PC.
Just take a WLAN USB stick, e.g. From AVM
