I would like to install linux Lubuntu on my laptop next to Windows due to the bad hardware. Now I wonder if both are installed, will both affect performance? So while Linux boots, does Windows still use RAM and CPU memory?
I look forward to every answer
No, that does not consume any extra power.
No, there's only one system active at a time.
Thanks for the quick reply ^^
No. It makes no difference at all. You just need more hard drive space, that's all.
Would only take more power if you ran Linux in a virtual machine in parallel in a Windows window, e.g. B. With Virtualbox.
No, only one operating system is run in a dual boot.
The only thing that is consumed is hard disk space.
