How long does it take to reset Windows 10?

Since yesterday, around 11 pm, I have started the process of resetting Windows 10 on my laptop. This is a good 8 hours ago, but I still see "This PC is being reset, it will take a few minutes and your PC will be restarted."

Is this "normal" that takes a reset process SO long? Or should I restart the process again?

The rough laptop hardware, if needed:

Intel Pentium

I think 2 GB of RAM

That can over 24h. Last, especially with such extremely weak hardware.

It is better to reinstall Windows with weak hardware.

Resetting Windows 10 may take a while, depending on the hardware and stored data, and it depends primarily on the hardware you are using to determine how fast the reset will complete.

Or should I restart the process again?

Which option did you choose when resetting? Only reset Windows 10 or completely, so that stored files are also deleted? I would settle the process and simply reinstalled Windows 10.

The power of your computer is pretty weak, and probably just thinks about the minimum system requirement. Ergo the reset can and will take quite a long time. I would therefore reinstalled Windows cleanly.

You can download the latest disk image of Windows 10 for free from the Microsoft servers. With the help of the also free Media Creation Tool also a USB flash drive bootable with the installation media can describe.
