I'm going to sell my PS4 this week. Of course I will delete my PSN account from the PS4 and log in again on the PS5 that I will buy. Of course, I can then download the games that I bought again, but are the saved games deleted or are they also linked to the PSN account? If not, I also have PS + and can upload the game status there in the cloud, but what happens if my PS + expires? I don't want to pay for ps + if I don't have a playstation…
And what about videos and screenshots? These are also deleted so how do I transfer them to my laptop?
The saves are tied to the account and not to the console so you don't have to worry Sorgen would still save the most important game stands in the PS Plus Cloud to be sure.
You can upload videos and screenshots to a USB stick if it is large enough. Just have to make sure that there's nothing on it beforehand because it will be formatted by Playstation as far as I know.
