I'm desperate right now why I have such low fps in GTA despite a very good laptop.
My laptop: https://www.amazon.de/...082L67KHQ/
Do you play with a battery or with a socket
If you are playing with a battery, just plug the plug in, that can be enough
Energy saving mode maybe in there? How are the other games going? Actually, you should be 100+
Yes, always play on the battery
I did the turbo mode and the end performance doesn't change anything. I don't even use very high graphics. I despair
So on the charger
If you play with the charger plugged in, the Fps are definitely too low
Could it be eass my laptop is using the onboard graphics card? I turned it off yesterday, but then all the "animations" on the desktop ukd don't play smoothly. I would say only 20fps everywhere. I then activated it again and then I had 60-80 fps for a long time
In gta
60 to 80 are more likely that the laptop has to manage
seems to be a driver thing
Attempt to assign the 2070 to gta 5 times in the extended 3d settings of Nvida driver
I assigned the nvidia high-performance processor to gta and the drivers are also the latest
And I'm back to 30-45
GTA V is very poorly optimized for computers. There are often performance problems / bugs / glitches / crashes etc. It can happen that a worse computer does better than a better one.
The low GPU / CPU utilization is also a widespread problem.
For me it helps to some extent if I set the priority of the "gtav.exe" to "high" in the "Task Manager" under "details" and leave the game in window mode (full screen can sometimes lead to crashes). In addition, I usually have to close most of the other applications.
In between times it runs quite ok for me with 70 fps but only until I close the game again. Thanks for the Hilge, I'll try it out. My cpu is often at 90 ° but only 40% are used and the graphics card is used to a maximum of 40%: /
