Laptop does not recognize my headset microphone?

I have the problem that my headset microphone is not recognized by my laptop. Have in the sound setting, etc. Already checked, drivers updated and tried out otherwise. At my Ps4 the headset works perfectly. My laptop has a jack, my headset 2, but I've gotten an adapter and he still does not recognize the microphone.

Would be great if someone had a solution approach.

Which mic do you have? Some are only for ps4, others for both…
