Do you regularly scan your PC or laptop for viruses?

My Avast scanner has been running for 1 day now it is at 99%

With Windows 10, the included 'Defender' does this.
And after everything I've heard so far, that's enough (compared to other antivirus programs).

For most of those who use a virus program, this happens automatically. Those who use Windows protection will be no different.

Ja

Now and then I do it - of course:-).

With a lot of pictures and videos * cough cough * on the PC it sometimes takes a little longer.

No, I never do. I just don't download viruses. And I have real time surveillance.

Yeah, he does. Manufacturers of paid users complain that it is so good that it competes with them.

I recommend Avast if you have Windows 10 uninstall and activate Windows Defender. And then get Malwarebytes and ADWcleaner and scan with them.

I do it very rarely because my usage behavior hardly requires it, but doing it once a month doesn't hurt. And that takes a maximum of a few hours depending on the amount of data you have. Most users have 1 TB of data, which doesn't take long.
