Hi, I would like to reset my notebook to factory settings. The problem is that I have a slow Internet connection and it would take ages to re-install games like FIFA. My plan was therefore to copy the game folder to a USB stick and then when I reset my notebook and reinstalled Origin the folders to put back on the notebook. Does it work? So I can do without the download and continue playing where I left off?
You can move the games elsewhere, but I think you have to reinstall them.
I have already done that before, have copied the Origin Games folder with my Sims 2 and copied on another computer with my registered Origin account again in the same folder and the game was tested briefly and then it could play immediately after the test. LG Dennis

He has only checked the data so not reloaded but just watched obs is complete, defective data he may download new down. LG
Yes, a few things (relatively little) still need to be downloaded or added but most would already be there so the time is subtly shorter than if you would download it completely new.
