Since I'm not very familiar with it, I wanted to ask here.
So I'm looking for a cheap Wi-Fi repeater, where I can connect the lan cable from the router that goes from the living room to my room and this then converts the signal from the lan cable into a Wi-Fi signal so that I have better Wi-Fi in my room cell phone, notebook and my switch. Is only needed for the 3 things. It should cost up to max. 20-35 euro approx. Great if someone can recommend something to me.
You are not looking for a repeater but a Wi-Fi access point.
It will be difficult to find one without a router.
Do you manage a Fritzbox?
We have a fritz box 6490 cable
I summarize:
There's a LAN cable in your room.
You want to have Wi-Fi for multiple devices in your room
There are a lot of devices that can do that. I recommend one from devolo or Fritz. That should be in your price range. It's called "Access Point". I have it at home too (Fritz - but a little more expensive for it 5 GHz and great)
Eg WR841N for less than 20.- at Amazon and as an AP, you can then connect several devices to it by cable…
Then a repeater might be something: https://avm.de/...ter-1750e/
You have a LAN connection and the device can also connect via Wi-Fi. The MESH then decides on the most effective connection route.
