Which one would you recommend to me
and what definitely! Advise against
Price range up to 600 euro
In my experience, definitely Acer.
Just opening and closing the screen broke by itself until it could only be opened very slowly with a lot of calmness and both hands.
The support received 3 (e-mail) inquiries from me with all relevant information 2 were completely ignored, the third asked a question to which they never replied.
Overall, I can only say that I will never do the dirt again
1000 euro is way too much for a laptop with poor cooling. No support and self-destructive.
That already after 3 years.
I have had a "cheap" one from HP for almost 2 years and have been very satisfied so far
I think the best-selling laptops in the past are from HP, so you should consider in your survey that there may be more that have noticed something bad. HP is a good brand, and you don't hear much bad about Lenovo either. I hear something bad about Acer all the time. Asus I don't know much about it. Many do not understand that you can't expect much from a laptop when it comes to durability. You have to reckon that it will last for 2 years, maybe also 3. If you treat it improperly, go / work with it in dirty places or constantly keep it somewhere, this is reduced again significantly.
What is written on it doesn't matter at all because they all fall off the tape next to each other, in the price range only the housing is changed a bit here and there, otherwise they are all the same devices.
If you are looking for something decent look in the sales for what is thrown out, otherwise it only starts from 1000 euro. Alternatively, in the business sector, see what is currently being thrown out in bulk at the companies, reserve devices are also new and cost less than 600 euro. Right off the bat, I'd just say Dell Precision M4800 / 6800 as the direction.
I myself bought an older Tecra with C2D from the sale for 500 euro (2010), student version but you can get it that way and can then really save when it goes on sale. It still works today but I don't need it anymore, that's why I sold my Precision M6500 back then. Not enough steam for a desk when things go smoothly, I can get a lot farther with a tower.
My wife was given a Lenovo and it was defective several times. All others listed here are much more reliable, regardless of whether they are running Windows or Linux.
