I have set up Virtualbox on my PC.
However, settings are not saved on the VM. I can take snapshots, but then I always have to go back to this snapshot. If I save the current state, however, system settings such as keyboard layout should remain saved even without having to go back to a snapshot every time or have to save the current state.
The problem only exists with Garuda Linux, both Dr460nized and Gnome.

If you don't return to a savepoint, won't your changes be saved? What if you change the settings and restart Windows from within the VM? Are the attitudes also gone then?
