Hi @ all I would like to perform a new installation on my laptop and will format everything before. But I currently have the Oracle VM box on it and would like the Dateein and everything on it is later again on the newly installed laptop want. How to create a save point, I know in the VM, only I will format the whole laptop yes.
A VM is a big file, so to speak.
I would recommend:
create an extra partition big enough for your VMs
format this partition and save all VM's there
then re-create the system partition and reinstall your operating system there.
