Opera opens on wrong monitor?

I have a laptop with an additional monitor here on the desk, whereby the monitor is the desktop and is also set as such (even if that shouldn't really make any difference).

For a few days now I have had Opera open when I open it on the monitor and minimize it when I open it from the taskbar instead of on the monitor on the laptop (was not closed in between).

Anyone have an idea why?

Do not display the Opera window in full screen, but drag it so that it looks full on the monitor of your choice. Then close it and open it again. Then it should be on the right monitor. Otherwise, swap monitor order because the one running on the Opera in full screen is probably considered the standard.

Thank you first, full screen or not but makes no difference, so maximize / open it.

It works 9 out of 10 times and it opens normally again on the monitor. Only now and then on the other screen with no noticeable difference in handling.

Then my two tips don't help, you have to keep looking for what you do in between
