Sims 4 on Usb, multiple computers?

I have a question for example about the Sims 4.

And it would be purely theoretical if I install the SIms 4 and Origin on a USB stick or on an external disk, that I can then play the SPiel on any xany computer or not?

I mean now in the sense of all the data is on the disk and I do not have to install anything on the particular computer or laptop…

Is that possible or is there a problem, who has experience with it?

The idea would be I have 3 computers and 3 laptops that I do not have to depend on which device I play which SPiel.

It will not work that way, in all probability. On the one hand, your user data (scores, mods, etc.) are always stored in your Documents folder, not in the Sims 4 installation folder.

On the other hand, Windows gives each external drive a (the first free available) drive letter. If your Sims is installed normally on your main PC on drive C, this will not work with the external LW because this can never be C:! In addition, it may well happen that one and the same Ext.-LW also on the same computer times receives a different letter - and already the installation path for Windows is not right again.

Therefore it can come with External drives again and again to errors with The Sims 4. (The same applies to Origin)
