I have an exam soon to make a Powerpoint presentation only the problem is I have Powerpoint from 2007 quite old and those in school have 2010 and so I do not know if that works and I wanted to take my own laptop only the thing is me do not know what I need for everything you could help me because of the cable and stuff
Opening PowerPoint presentations created with an older version should not be a problem. Conversely, if you want to open a file created with a newer version of your old version, the newer versions may contain things that are not in your older version.
Otherwise, you can - as you have already suggested - of course, bring your own laptop. You usually only need an HDMI cable.
