If I take over a PC from someone else I would first reinstall Windows.
Can you please do that a bit more carefully? I only find instructions that need a Windows license key or where I would have to buy the program completely new.
Does "reinstall" buy? Or how do I get it?
With Produkey (software, kannste download) read out the license key, then ne Windows ISO with the Windows ISO Downloader by Heididoc on at least 8GB USB stick or a hard disk load (Windows key + R, then you see which operating system you need to download and whether 32 or 64 bit). Then start BIOS (at startup f2 / f10 / f11 / f12 or press esc key fast, is different for each device) Adjust boot order that the storage medium with the ISO file is supreme, if necessary "disable secure boot" and on Legacy instead of UEFI. Then reboot and before Windows starts, go to the boot menu (press F8 / F9 quickly). Then you should start the Windows setup, perform the installation, if necessary enter the license read with the Produkey and then it is reinstalled.
I would make a backup first, create at least one system image and save it on an external device so that you can row back at any time.
Where is the problem? Win 10 downloads from Microsoft and there's a key for 10 euro in the Inet to buy.
Now come back to the moral apostles here. For the one who buys the key, this is not illegal. If Microsoft wanted to stop that, they would have acted long ago.
