Classmates want my laptop for their talk, I have to admit it?

My new classmates want to use my laptop for their talk.

I said that I do not want that and also no strange USB sticks or smartphones to my laptop.

They only said that I was "not very tight" and left.

I told her to ask the teacher if she's going to get a laptop if she's already on such methods. Should the work equipment be provided by the school / teacher.

Can my teacher "force" me to connect a foreign USB stick / smartphone to my laptop?

Very reasonable.

And of course no one can force you to give your laptop to anyone, it's yours!

No. Nor do you have to help a grandma get up if she falls or someone stops the door when they carry something heavy.

You do not have to do anything. Should not you then be surprised if you titled you like that.

My grandma died when I was 1 year old. So I do not know how it is with a grandma. Can you tell me if it helps?

Po

Do not get lectured. You may of course make your laptop available, but if you are treated like that, certainly not. I would not do that either.

Helping others or exposing themselves to a risk are two different things.

If one of my students keeps a presentation on their own laptop, I do not take it for granted that he will make it available to his classmates.

It would be a nice gesture, except that I'm very picky, like you, and I do not want foreign data to be played on it.

You can never be sure that the sticks / smartphones are virus-free and in the end you have the damage.

My tip: Stay strong and point out that a) your classmates can bring their own laptop and that b) the school can provide one.

The comparison is huge.
