Assuming it is a Windows device without BitLocker encryption or EFS-encrypted files.
Whereby you can simply clap a Linux Live on a USB and try to get the passwords from the Windows users with the Linux tool chntpw (of course it has to be downloaded first). Of course, it doesn't work if the disk is encrypted.
