On my windows 10 laptop the internetexplorer closes shortly after you open it. What can you do about it and what is it?

Install Chrome or Opera.

The Internet Explorer is still available on Windows 10, but old and "out of order".

Use a current browser like FireFox, Chrome etc.

You do not have to get to the bottom of the problem (unless there are other problems), because you should not use the IE anyway for the reasons mentioned.
