Does Google Classroom control other browsers?

And I just read that Google Classroom in exams prevents new tabs from being opened, but during my exam I still had a second browser (still from learning) open, which was not displayed in the task bar on the laptop, So I used Google Classroom with Firefox and had a page open in Microsoft Explorer that had information that I could have used to spit with it (stupid that I didn't do it).

Can my teacher somehow see this through Google Classroom or have I been lucky again?

Nice teachers who trust Google, but if Google Classroom doesn't record the background tasks, then again luck.

And does it regularly record the background tasks?

The screens maybe, but not the tasks (I didn't find any information about this).
