If I only have 1 monitor, can I connect 2 devices? I just have a Ps4 and a laptop and can I now connect both to the monitor? So that means if I turn on the Ps4 now, the Ps4 lobby comes and if I turn off the Ps4 again and turn on my laptop, that I then transfer my laptop.
Yes, of course, either the monitor already has several connections or you need an adapter that connects the two device cables to one input connector.
You can do that with an HDMI switch. I have a thing that automatically detects "who's on it".
Excellent! What is your name of this HDMI switch?
Great thank you!
It's called HDMI Switch and it's from UGREEN. But be careful. If the monitor doesn't act as a speaker at the same time, you won't hear anything. I also have a device with which the sound is decoupled from the HDMI signal and sent to an external soundbar. This ensures that the video signal from the respective device arrives on the monitor and the audio signal is sent to the external loudspeaker.
Was fiddling - but works fine.
I think that's it: https://www.amazon.de/...00MWRZFP4/
But I don't think I have the remote control anymore.
