Nope. Real computer scientists have Linux. Just buy one with a good battery and a good processor without an operating system and then play Linux Ubuntu or something on it.

Solid part, but I recommend i7. I have a surface pro 7 i5, that's too lame for me.
You can also use others, but surface is, so to speak, Apple in the Windows area, if you like it that everything is simple.
You can also look at Dell XPS, they are also very good
