I have a problem with an XPS-M1330. As soon as I connect the power supply, the screen goes out. If the laptop is switched off, the battery is charged. If the power supply is removed again, the screen remains black / off. Power supply is not original but with the required specifications (19.5V 4.62A). Power settings in Windows have already been checked and are OK.

I can hardly imagine a hardware problem. I would rather guess a Windows problem. You can try to reset the PC. There's a reset method in which all Windows settings are reset, but your data remains available.
As far as I know, the problem already existed with the previous owner and after an update to Windows 10 Home. It is still worth a try.
