I'm looking for a new laptop and I already have a favorite. However, I noticed that the integrated webcam is only 0.9 megapixels and 720p. I will have to use the webcam regularly, so it should work at least halfway smoothly. Unfortunately I have no idea whether this is good or bad and could use a more knowledgeable opinion.

That's rather bad for a webcam. Unfortunately, MacBooks, for example, only have a 1.2 megapixel 720p webcam. The resolution of the webcam has nothing to do with the liquid, this is due to the processor and the internet connection. Maybe I can help you if you write which laptop model it is.

Well last week I got one with 1080p for 19.99 euro instead of 34.99 euro and the picture is really good

The worse the resolution, the less data has to be transferred and the smoother the transfer.
