that drivers are already on afterwards and the system is activated, know it differently from the PC.
My question is now, if I reinstall Windows Vista using a USB stick and install the drivers manually, will the Windows key included still be accepted?
Why should you install one of the worst Windows releases? What speaks against Windows 10?

If there are hardware-technical reasons, I would rather recommend a light Linux version than Windows Vista. Linux Mint is very Windows-like here.
You will not find a Vista image (especially in a blank version as you are looking for) so easily without relying on unofficial sources.
