For some time I can't easily copy texts and folders on my Acer Swift3 laptop with the mouse pad. The problem appears in all software. In general, there are always problems when it comes to markings. So not only if I want to copy eg texts from the Internet in Word, but also if I try to mark folders which I then want to move.
There are also problems with the operation of the right mouse button. If you press them, for example, to create a new folder on the desktop, you have to press it several times - until it finally works. Unfortunately, this problem does not follow a pattern. Sometimes it works right away and then again only 9 or 10 times.
Of course I tried to fix the problem with an external mouse, but I did not see it. Again, the same problem.
Above all, I have no clue since when it is so. There was actually no update or other problem with the PC.
I hope you can help me, because working has become so ineffective.
We once had the effect on a customer's ACER notebook that the mouse pad was damaged. The print area was probably mechanically damaged and at times this did not react correctly when "clicked".
Internally hind the contact, was connected to an external mouse, "superimposed" of the PC still operated pad sensor this - ultimately, this could only be brought to run by "deactivating" the pad.
Only then you could with the ext. Mouse work correctly and permanently.
