No LAN connection on the laptop?

It just doesn't work. I've already tried everything possible, all without success.

The LAN itself works because it works on the PS4!

I tried the following:

-different Lan cables used (also what is on PS4 where it works)

-Direct connection to router

-Win troubleshooting

- Network card drivers updated, uninstalled, reinstalled

It also does not display an error message, just not connected under Ethernet.

Device manager everything on target, no markings etc.

Under network connections it says that the network cable was removed even though it is in there.

What else can I do?

A virus scanner installed that could block something?

Next to the network plug there are two small diodes, orange, red, green, something like that. If there's a physical link between your network card and the remote station, they light up / flash.

Do you do that?

No, nothing flashes

However, when I connect it to the Ps4, nothing flashes but still fumbles

Then the network socket is broken.

You could look again in the BIOS to see whether it is hardware-wise deactivated, but then no drivers should actually be installable and they should not even appear in Windows.

It is probably over…

Take a look at the socket with a flashlight. There are the finest clips where every wire goes into a contact slot in the connector. I've had it before that one of these mini hangers was bent. If something like this no longer goes into its crack in the plug, symptoms like this come along too…

Thats it, it was exactly the same, a clamp was (is) bent, it straightened something and it works. Oh, thank you very much! In the long run, only a USB LAN adapter will help.

Wow, great, I'm really happy:-))

You can also be lucky:-)
