I have a problem that I simply can't understand / solve…
I have an acer Nitro 5, which I also use for gaming. Before that I had a normal tower pc, but it broke. When I play on the nitro 5 csgo everything is normal and everything runs smoothly.
But now the problem: if I connect my old 24 inch aoc 1920x1080p monitor, I get frame drops up to 20fps with csgo. I don't have that when I only play on the laptop…
do you have any idea what it could be?
The graphics card / graphics unit has to work more logically,
It's a bigger picture
This is probably due to the extra work your graphics processor has to do.
If the graphics unit (graphics card or integrated graphics unit) is not strong enough for 2 screens (when playing), it can jerk.
Full screen activated on CS GO?
If you are only in windowed mode or borderless full screen, the GPU unit must also calculate the 2 monitor, which affects performance
Basically, such laptop GPU chips are not intended to operate a 2 monitor.
