I have the problem for about 1,5Monaten that my gaming laptop (Acer Predator Helious 300) repeatedly falls into standby mode, although I turned off the standby mode in the energy settings. I could not discover a correct scheme.
It seems as if the laptop after about 2-3h simply falls into standby mode and then he can't be woken up for about 30s. Then everything goes back to normal and such an incident happens only a maximum of 1 per session.
It is now that shortly after I wrote this question, the laptop more consecutively in standby mode expires (3 times) to only 1 time.
It may be that your battery or your charging cable bissl has given up the ghost. But otherwise go to a private PC technician. You can also go to a big one. Only the most try to sell you new ones.
Maybe the calculator gets too hot? Installed a program that shows you the temperature and maybe spits out a currency beyond a certain limit. One possible program is CoreTemp. You can also narrow down the problem with a benchmark test to make sure that it is the heat with increasing load.
- it is because: Dust calculator, maybe even change thermal paste (if necessary, can be done by a specialist); Dusting helps but usually already, alternatively helps a pad with fans
Otherwise, it could also be on the stream. So try to change the power supply and start a stress test again to see if the system is running smoothly.
- is it now: new power supply
To see if it's a software problem, it helps to do it under a live system like Knoppix.
- Now it's time to reinstall Windows
I have to say that the laptop goes into standby even though it is completely cool and fully charged (100%)
