My desktop is out of date and I also urgently need Windows 10. Now I'm thinking of buying a laptop. I googled at Media Markt and found https://www.mediamarkt.de/...31901.html
Now I would like advice on whether this is recommended. I need help setting it up, but Media Markt offers that too. Since I want to play CD music on my laptop and transfer it to my smartphone, I obviously need a drive. Is there something that can be connected externally or can someone recommend a device in which the drive is integrated.
Is it possible to connect an external keyboard?
I'm looking forward to some advice. LG
An acer is not so good i recommend this one

If you would buy it you have to deactivate Fan Always on in the BIOS then the fan will only start at 50 degrees
Is okay. You don't seem to have much plans for it.
You can buy external drives, of course. You can also connect an external keyboard via USB
It is enough for your needs.
Is just an office notebook.
No more and no less.

Dude, I hardly think the FS wants to go into the BIOS
Yes, it was just a tip
But thanks for the tip
Actually, I tend to buy a new desktop because I like to work at my desk and don't really care about mobility. What do you advise me I'm a bit helpless. Can handle it well, but the techniques overwhelm me.
I ask you the same question as Mr.Bienemann

What kind of PC do you have, would it be enough for you to upgrade it and play Windows 10?
If you only do office, a PC of around 200-400 euro + monitor is sufficient.
You can take a finished PC with confidence.
Why not a desktop? For the same price, you get a good deal of better hardware, can work on your existing screen, which should be larger than that of the laptop.
As I said, you apparently do not have so many demands on the computer. In this respect, it really depends on you
I know that e.g. Hardly need a desktop PC because I travel a lot and also have to be able to work on the go. For home, my setup with a laptop, second screen and the option of having a mouse and keyboard externally is enough for me.
Obviously there are disadvantages like battery, performance etc. Which of course can occur more with the laptop.
For me it would always be a laptop + screen instead of a normal desktop PC. But as I said, it's up to you what you like better
The device is already 8 years old - Vento A 8 - and very very slow. An acquaintance, who is not always available, advised me to use a laptop, although I tend to prefer a desktop. It is time that I can use Windows 10.
The one I'm writing about is 14 years old and is just as fast as a new computer and runs with Win 10.

With the laptop it is important to do a bios update, the Lappi has top components but has a bad reputation because those who do not update bios quickly have a huge problem with the device.
Which Vento a8 do you have? They are available from Core2 to the i series.
You can upgrade them cheaply and then have a super fast Win 10 device, which is even suitable for gaming depending on the series.
Here is an example:
A little better…
336 euro including DVD burner

284 euro incl. DVD burner kept a bit simpler

Thanks for your advice - the type no. I can hardly see it. Who is upgrading such a device that it does not become too expensive?
And finally, kept very simple and used, but that's more than enough.
125 euro

You, it's a no-brainer like Lego.
Costs one appel and one egg
You could look over https://www.chip.de/...11109.html what you have
You could also look at the mainboard if you take off the side cover.
Important after importance.

You made a lot of effort and I thank you for that. I'm convinced that I'm using advice. Wish you a good time. LG
