I will move back to the dormitory from next semester and need a laptop that is as cheap as possible, which should only be used for online meetings and homework. I have a gaming PC at home so I want to spend as little money as possible on it.

Is it suitable for simple tasks (online meetings, latex files, Python etc.), or should I add something because it will cause problems?
My honest answer: Put that thing in the bin! Not even worth the price.
So in my opinion the computer is okay for at least 2-3 years for such everyday things. After that, however, if you are still working harder on thinking about it again…
And that's why I advise you, maybe just put a little more on it and then maybe get by with it for 7-8 years + plus you have better performance at the beginning and actually consistently
Basically the correct answer. Unfortunately, the part is already out of date. I mean 4GB of RAM? Way to less. Every cheap smartphone from 5 years ago has 4 GB of ram
Yeah well, I have to agree with you at that point.
Basically, 4 GB of RAM is still possible, but really not for games but only for work and now not really high quality.
Thanks for the answer, do you have a better suggestion? I actually want to spend as little as possible on this laptop because I have a gaming PC at home.
The device should have at least 8 GB of RAM. A quad core with 2 GHz is recommended and a graphics chip with at least 1 GB RAM.
