I would like to connect two screens to my laptop. However, I only have one HDMI port and no other display connection. I still have a USB Type C port. I saw videos of people connecting their monitors with USB Type C cables, but you have to differentiate between different Type C types, right? Unfortunately I don't know my way around, so my question is: Is there any way to connect my second monitor even though my laptop only has one HDMI port?
My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5 (A515-52G-53PU)
There's a suitable USB-C docking station with appropriate display connections, eg "Acer USB Type-C docking station"
Could I then connect the second monitor to the usb c port?
Yes, that should normally be possible.
