I have a problem with my Acer Aspire 8730G I have a black screen no matter what you do, it stays black. I have already connected my notebook to an external monitor, but it still stays black. Some have told me to do it Change graphics chip and some have told me I should change the graphics card, because my notebook also has a dedicated GPU (NVIDIA GeForce 9600M-GT). Now my question is whether I should change the integrated graphics unit or the entire graphics card?
If I see that correctly, your processor has no integrated graphics unit. It would be a waste of money if you still have a dedicated graphics card. So you will probably have to change the graphics card (better let a professional do that if you don't know your way around)
I didn't quite understand it. My notebook has a graphics card and a graphics chip. Is the integrated graphics unit and graphics chip the same?
If we believe the KrassenKarpfen then you would have to change the graphics card.
But doing something like this in a laptop can be very complicated because the graphics card is usually built very deep in the laptop and it is very difficult to get to it.
Then you would have to buy a graphics card that is small enough (but if you have made it to the graphics card, look at the model number and then order exactly the same.)
So all in one, it can be very difficult and you hate no assurance whether that is due to the graphics card and that if you replace it or let the laptop work again.
