How do I improve the performance of my laptop?

May not be the right place to inquire about this, but I'll try it anyway. About a year and a half ago I bought the Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition or the Acer Aspire VN7-593G for 1.600 euro. The hardware is Intel Core i7-7700HQ with 2.8GHz per core, Nvidia GeForce 1060 (6144mb), 16gb RAM and 4k capable display. Unfortunately, I can't say more about the hardware because it is really hard to find the exact information because on every page I've been checking out other information about the same model. Anyway, that's really good hardware in my opinion. Nevertheless, as good as no game runs really smoothly to 60fps or starts to jerk after about 20 - 30 minutes. I have already taken almost every measure I've heard of. Close unnecessary processes, delete unnecessary programs, disable background apps, I do not even have a background image. Even so, Battlefield does not even run smoothly at 60fps on the lowest settings. I still have plenty of free space on the C and D drives (C has 151 GB of 237 GB and D 830 of 931 GB). My virtual memory I have already increased 3 times to 4 GB as far as I remember correctly. Are there any other ways I can increase the performance?

Since the laptop is not cooled very well, I have the experience that a cooling pad is very helpful. Just search laptop cooler on Amazon. The things are from 20 euro.

Aufm notebook long on max fps gambling without throttling is generally a wishful dream, which we can realize at the earliest in ~ 5 years. With the GF1060 I had to stop giggling - this is a marketing but not a purchase argument.

Too bad that you got this Quasimodo

As good as no game really liquid at 60fps or starts to jerk after about 20 - 30 minutes.

This is a classic problem of laptops. The cooling is just not enough, the laptop overheats and clocks down. That's why laptops are not suitable for gaming.

You can't do much there. Time to unscrew the laptop and clean it. A cooling pad can also help a little.
