I will have online exams soon and so I have to make sure that my hardware works perfectly. Since I'm not very familiar with computers, I just wanted to ask you a question.
My laptop has slowed down a bit now, would it improve performance if I completely rebuilt my laptop? So that I kind of reboot it, if that works at all.
(It works well in itself, but it sometimes takes ages to start and the folders are also a bit messy.)
What kind of memory do you have? So HDD or SSD SATA / NVMe? Also, how much memory do you have left of what is available?
Resetting the PC will most likely work. Of course, I don't know what components you have installed, but in most cases resetting the system is very useful.
Yes, a new setup would be an option, but I would recommend a new hard drive. Can I ask what exactly you have for a laptop?
I would do a disk cleanup
Delete Firefox data (history and cookies)
If it doesn't work delete programs
And if nothing helps set up again
Yes, it can definitely bring something.
Phew so a Medion that will soon be 10 years old, I think. Is it enough if I clear my hard drive a little bit?
Ok, yes the question is what kind of CPU RAM and hard drive is installed. Would back up all files and set them up from scratch.
