What else can you use the fingerprint sensor on a laptop for?

As already described in the "title" above, I have the question of what can still be locked with a fingerprint sensor on a laptop. I have an Acer Aspire 5 with an integrated sensor in the touchpad. I can use it to unlock my laptop, but is there a way to protect programs or certain folders? I searched for it, but nothing like that is described on the Internet.

Just put the folders on the shelf, what's wrong with you XD

Ah yes thank you, but unfortunately it doesn't work with digital folders…
