Can i activate 120hz with my laptop?

I have an acer predator helios 300 and my laptop only has a 60hz screen but if i have a 120hz monitor will 120hz work?

If everything works out, then open the Nvidia control panel, select your screen and set it to 120hz

If your monitor is capable of 120Hz, and your graphics card… I assume gaming is strong enough… For that, then yes, of course.

Doesn't the GTX 1050Ti itch insofar as its performance has to reach 60Hz, or 120Hz rather than the native resolution of the displays.
