I have a serious question
I own a Lenovo Ideapad 330-15ICH 81FK notebook. I recently bought a Xiaomi mi 34 Curved Monitor (3440x1440, 144Hz).
I can't use the 144Hz because I don't have a DisplayPort connection, but as far as I know you can use 2k / 4k with 120Hz with an HDMI 2.1 connection.
I have a GTX 1050 and it supports HDMI 2.0 as far as I understand. However, I can't switch to 3440x1440p 120Hz (since my iGPU is probably blocking it?). Wanted to ask how I can change it or what I can do.
Would be very nice of you.
Disable igpu i think
First of all thanks for the answer Insert123.
About device manager? I did it, but then I can no longer enter the Nvidia Control Panel and I can't select 120Hz via adapter properties
Unfortunately I don't know then. I wrote what it didn't do for You can still see if Xiaomi has any software for setting that you can install. Furthermore, look in the advanced display settings whether you can adjust the resolution there.
