No, that will not work. A laptop can unfortunately only output a signal. I've been hoping to use it as a monitor, but no.
The connections are there only to connect another monitor.

Yes, that works with the function 'PS4 Remote Play'. You just have to install the appropriate software (requires Windows 8.1, 10 or a current Mac OS). It then works similar to the corresponding functions on Steam and on the Xbox.
Alternatively, you can also buy a laptop with HDMI input (for example, have some Alienware laptops) ;-)
